Why do Celts and Jews look so much alike?
In order to fulfill the "restoration" promise of Hosea 1:10,11 the offspring of both the children of Judah and the children of Israel would have to come from a common ethnic group (Israelite) and display many common characteristics. This despite continual intermarrying (and marrying outside the Israelite stream) for over 3,500 years beginning at least as early as Joseph marrying the non-Israelite Egyptian woman Asenath and producing Ephraim and Manasseh.
In reality, it is generally difficult to distinguish between Northern and Southern Kingdom Israelites, even 3,000 years after they split, and countless marriages outside the tribes. The people on the following short list of Jews, both self-identified and named at such public sites as www.jewhoo.com, look very much like ordinary non-Jewish Celts from anywhere else in the world.
